As1Heart Podcast – Episode 16 feat. Jose Toussaint

Jose Toussaint Ep 16

Jose Toussaint is a BrainGym consultant and Instructor. She is also a Touch For Health Teacher. She likes to give her clients self-help tools, so they can use these tools at their convenience and hopefully live their lives to the fullest.

Jose works from home as a Kinesiologist. Her priority is coming back to basics when working with her clients, as she focuses on the 14-muscle balance as the foundation of her balances.

She loves coming together with other kinesiologists as it can become a little daunting at times when she works on her own. She makes the effort to travel to the Sunshine coast to meet with other kinesiologists and attend the meet and greet meetings in Brisbane.

Her wish for the Kinesiology profession is for Kinesiology to be widely accepted in Australia, that every family has a kinesiologist as a therapist. So that everyone can be the best person they can be. Here we are reminded of John Thie’s vision for Kinesiology – to have muscle testing on every corner for everyone.

This is a beautiful conversation with a beautiful Kinesiologist. She is heart-centred and passionate about helping her clients become self-aware through her sessions and bringing this awareness into their everyday life. She talks about how her client’s body tells her a story and to follow this story with all the modalities that you as a practitioner have learnt. Jose continues to expand on her own knowledge through learning new skills.

She reminds us to ‘walk our talk’ as practitioners, as you become a better practitioner when you look after yourself. When you are stressed or exhausted you are of no benefit to your clients. Take time out to meditate and look after yourself!
